Parks Canada Columbia Icefields Wildlife Panels
A great idea for the Icefield Centre parking lot at the Columbia Icefields. Parks Canada hired me to research and write three interpretive panels on eagles, mountain goat and grizzly bear. Project Graphic Designer: Marni Wilson, Non-personal Media Specialist, Parks Canada.
Parks Canada Columbia Icefields Mountaineering Panels
Another fun project for Parks Canada. I researched and wrote six interpretive panels featuring mountaineers legendary in the Rocky Mountains. I interviewed subjects where possible, and coordinated mountaineer visuals for the project. Project Graphic Designer: Marni Wilson, Non-personal Media Specialist, Parks Canada.
Path of the Glacier Exhibit to be Installed this Summer
Kudos to Parks Canada Designer Marni Wilson and Project Lead Gloria Keyes-Brady on putting together a beautiful exhibit to be enjoyed for the next ten years at the base of the internationally renowned Mountain: Mount Edith Cavell. Thanks once more for the opportunity to do the writing. What a fun project!
Mount Edith Cavell Path of the Glacier Interpretive Panels
I am excited to have been given the opportunity to work on the Path of the Glacier Interpretive Panels at Mount Edith Cavell. Over 16 new or re-vamped panels will be located along a path that travels from the parking lot, along the glacial moraine and down to Cavell Pond. Visitors will learn about the geology, glaciology, ecology and rich mountaineering tradition of the area. The project is in progress, and set to be completed next summer.
Here Comes the Sun – Jasper Solar Panel Exhibit
This panel, accompanied by an interactive video screen, appears in the Jasper Activity Centre. I wrote the panel and Ed Duchoslav provided the design.
