After Burn
Walk through scorched trees and newly “lunar” landscapes with Niki and local biologists as they discuss the fate of Jasper National Park’s wildlife following the July wildfires of 2024.
Along the way, you’ll follow the tracks of a GPS-collared wolf, ponder whether cougars will hunt in the burn, and marvel at the stubborn resilience of squirrels and seedlings.
It’s a story about the power of fire to both destroy and renew, and an opportunity to know the land differently.
